I am a licensed clinical social worker, certified EMDR therapist, certified health coach, and the owner of Wise Mind Therapy. I am very passionate about my work, and use a variety of evidence based modalities to help people heal from trauma and live fully in the present. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in practice for more than a decade. I am certified in EMDR and Addiction Therapy. Previously, I worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital working directly with people affected by serious mental illness, psychosis, suicidal ideation/attempts and chemical dependency/psychiatric diagnosis.  I also worked in outpatient (IOP) helping people who were newly sober acquire the skills to work on their recovery and reintegrate into life.

I am a PLPC in the state of Missouri. I have experience working with eating disorders, chronic mental illnesses, comorbidities, and complex trauma. I am trained in EMDR, which is a highly effective trauma treatment. My approach to the therapy process begins with a mindset that safety and connection are the most important aspects of any healing relationship, including the relationship you continually develop with yourself. I believe that you have an amazing potential for self-healing. Together, we can work through the painful emotions and internalized beliefs so that you may connect, rediscover, and return to your unique and wonderful self.
