I believe that healing involves more than simply talking about what is happening and what you have lived through. When appropriate, I incorporate modalities to help clients become more connected to their bodies, emotions, and nervous systems. Somatic practices, such as breathwork, and sound healing can help clients develop greater self awareness, grounding, and a sense of calm.

My approach is trauma-informed and often attachment focused. I draw from my training in Dyadic Development Practice (DDP) to help clients explore how early experiences can shape the way we connect with others, respond to stress, and understand ourselves. I also use EMDR to support clients in processing distressing past experiences that effect how they feel or respond in the present.

Therapy is not about changing who you are. It is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself, processing what you have experienced, and creating new ways of relating to yourself and others. I would be honored to meet you where you are, and support you along the way.
