My Background
Our identities and experiences shape us, influencing how we move through the world and relate to ourselves and others. I believe in the transformative power of a therapeutic space that fosters safety, support, respect, and empowerment for positive change. I work with a range of clients dealing with depression, anxiety, addiction, grief and loss, trauma, experiences unique to the LGBTQ+ community, women's issues, identity development, mood disorders, eating disorders, perfectionism, self-harm, life transitions, emotional regulation, and relationship difficulties.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trained yoga teacher, I take a holistic and collaborative approach, putting you, the client, at the center of our work together. Infusing mindfulness and body-based practices through a trauma-informed lens, we will explore your experiences, identify your innate strengths, address unhelpful patterns or behaviors, and equip you with tools to better navigate life's challenges.
I recognize that taking the step to explore therapy is significant and I look forward to being part of your journey.
